Position Size Calculator

Correct Position (trade) sizing when trading anything is crucial to your long term success and trading FOREX is no different!

Most good forex traders will risk around 1 to 2 percent of their account size per trade and actually most large successful traders only risk about half a percent on any one single trade (0.5%).

Instructions:
1. Select your trading account currency. eg AUD
2. Enter your Account/Equity balance. eg 1000
3. Enter how much you wish to risk. eg 1.5
4. Enter how many pips to your stop. eg 75
5. Select the currency pair that you are trading. eg EURUSD
Note: if you are trading a pair that has the quote currency (second pair) different to the trading account currency you will also need to enter this pairs current price. Simply select it from dropdown list below the calculator.
6. Hit Calculate!
